Working

Bryce and I have worked together off and on throughout our married life. Currently, we work together all day in the office, then spend our time together most evenings. We negotiate our differences quite well and usually recognize the importance of our married life in comparison to our business life. Now Jacque also works for us part-time on a regular basis. Caroline occasionally works when we need her to and if she has time. One of the challenges of this arrangement is the amount of time we spend together. One of the advantages of this arrangement is the amount of time we spend together. This afternoon, I sat working at my desk. To my left was Jacque, working at her desk. Caroline sat across from me working on Bryce's computer. (Bryce is in Grand Junction.) Kate came home from school and was on her computer upstairs, but still within talking distance.

I was hungry, and suggested that we all go get a late afternoon snack. By the time we had waited for everyone to reach a suitable stopping point, it was 4:30 pm. As we drove down 94th, we laughingly decided to go to Bajio and have an early evening dinner.

Sometimes, we do get frustrated with each other for various reasons. But usually, we like being together--which is a really good thing given the amount of time we spend together.
