Not Always Sports

I have decided that I don't need to apologize for my interest in sports. I have always liked watching and participating when I can. I sometimes plan my schedule around being home for important or not so important games. We go to basketball games, football games, baseball games, soccer games and all kinds of high school games including track meets. I play tennis and watch tennis. I even enjoy watching golf. I do, however, try not to become too out-of-balance. And I have worried a bit that those who marry into our family think we (I, since I am usually the event planner) might be a bit too sports oriented. So, since Dallin and Melissa have good-naturedly attended Jazz games, Bees Games, BYU Games, Real Games, and Brighton High School games--I decided that we needed to do something a bit different for a change. We all went out to dinner and then to Lion King at the Capitol Theater. Very fun!

Someday it is my dream to have you teach me how to understand the game of football. I only know a handful of things about it and that it looks pretty when it is being played on that big green field (or blue as in the case of the Broncos)and the players look graceful for as big as they are.
So, when can I make an appointment.

We love your kids. We enjoyed seeing Clint, Melissa, Dallin, and Jacque for a day this weekend. Clinton is hilarious. I think we need him around more.
