First Day of School

This will be an eventful year. Since this is Kate's last year of school, that means it is also MY last year of school. I have been sending my kids to school each year since the autumn of 1988 when Clinton started Kindergarten. I really love being a mother. I know that being a mother never ends, but it does change. And the changes are always good. But change is change, and I need to learn to embrace that constant part of life. In the meantime, I am going to enjoy every minute of this last year. Bryce, Care and I all went to Kate's "hello" assembly where they introduced her as a class officer and captain of the tennis team. We were not the only parents who attended, in case you were wondering!
