Funny Story: Kate was in San Diego with Glen & Laura, Olivia and Kendyl. They went out to eat one night and after they had finished, Laura and the girls left and Glen stayed to pay the bill. He told us that 4 servers walked over to give him the bill and then stood there asking him questions: "who was the girl sitting next to him?" He was a little confused and told them that it was his niece. "Is your niece Emma Watson?" Then he understood. No, my niece is Kate. They thought Kate was Hermoine.
Fairly often over the years, depending on how she wears her hair, people have said to Kate, "Do you know that you look like Hermoine in the Harry Potter movies?" She has heard it enough now, that she just laughs and tells them that, yes, others have mentioned the resemblance. The remainder of the trip, Kate said that Laura made her practice her English accent!
