Brazil, The Bees and Olivia Jane

Clair's middle son Dan is going to Brazil for a student abroad program through BYU. At Jacque's wedding we discovered that his traveling partner is cute nephew Jay! Last Sunday they joined us for Sunday dinner and to celebrate their upcoming adventure.

We went to our annual Bees game on the 24th. Unfortunately, the opposing team did not show up because they were sick. However, baseball is only a small part of this tradition. We still liked the home-run derby and the high school allstar game that was offered in replacement. And of course the fireworks! Take me out to the ballpark!

Last week Olivia--Glen & Laura's youngest daughter--stayed with us for a week. It happened to be Kate's last week before dance and tennis starts--so Kate filled her week with fun, friends and harmless pranks--and she took Livi along with her. I hope Olivia recovers from it all!
