Kate didn't have school on Monday, so we decided to drive down to the BYU art museum to see the Carl Bloch exhibit as well as the Utah towns photo exhibit. We enjoyed everything, but as we walked around one corner, we walked into a huge painting of Shoshone Falls by Henry L.A . Culmer. During my Capitol tours, I discuss a couple of his paintings of Southern Utah that hang in the Capitol--so I know his history a bit. Fun to see a little of my Idaho home on display.
The Bloch exhibit was wonderful. Inspiring.
