I really wanted to go to San Francisco for Kate's Spring Break, but that was not Bryce or Kate's first choice. But since they are such good sports, and because I am the trip planner in the family, we went--and Caroline came too. We walked through China Town, rode the trolley to Fisherman's Wharf, ate at many good restaurants, went to see "Wicked," went on a tour of Muir Woods, spent one whole evening at Alcatraz, ran across the Golden Gate Bridge (Caroline ran a lot further than that!) and we spent a couple of hours shopping, which was not nearly enough time. The Macy's was so big(7 floors!), I did not get past the 2nd floor! We had a lot of fun and then came home Saturday night in time to spend Easter with everyone. My sweet children even indulged me and agreed to play the Easter picture game--which is reading a scripture from the New Testament and then matching it to a picture from the life of the Savior. (Clinton assured Melissa that he would help her! Ha!) I love spending time with my family
