Caroline is back at school after being home for 4 weeks. Jacque and Dallin went to dinner at Dallin's family. Clinton and Melissa went to dinner at Melissa's family. Sunday dinner was just the three of us! But we are very glad that we can spend time with our fun Kate--and we also look forward to the times when we can all be together as well as have other family and friends over for Sunday dinner. Sometimes large, sometimes small--spending time with family is always wonderful.

i wish i could come to Sunday dinner. Let's see, what's on the menu? I'd hope for your delicious combo of roast, pototoes, carrots, red jello with whip cream, and if we're really lucky--your white rolls, we don't know why they're so good. Bryce says you lace them with some happy inducing drug.
I remember when all the kids were out of the home except Jay I worried that it would be disappointing to him. We couldn't possibly be as fun as his siblings. But it turned out to be a really fun time. We still have fun with just the three of us. Oh that baby of the family! They sure know a thing or two about being charming.
Kresh was very worried about your "mad" faces. I kept trying to explain, but every thing I said lead to another "WHY" question. You know how those 3-year olds can be, so I gave up.
There is something special about Sunday dinner even when its just a small number of people.
Many Sundays it is just Stan and I. Sometimes we invite people from the branch, but other times I am happy for the time it opens for me when I am not cooking, cleaning up, etc. I enjoy the quiet day and sometimes it helps me be more focused on the Sabbath. I still love Sunday dinners with family though, and yes, I almost always have that same menu!
