House Duty

I haven't helped clean and empty Mom and Dad's house at all. Thanks to Tim and my sisters for all of their work. Now the house has sold and so Bryce and I finally made the trip last weekend to help with some last minute cleaning and hauling. My friends have asked if I felt sad. But really, I enjoyed staying with Tim & Fran in my growing up bedroom (of course they have updated everything.) I enjoyed being with my family. I liked being surrounded by open fields with beautiful rows of cut alfalfa (sorry about the rain, Tim.) I had time to ponder about my blessed childhood (not perfect, but blessed!) I resolved to purge my house before I die! Ha! I am more determined to enjoy each moment and be grateful for all of the beautiful people and objects around me.
